Empowering Womxn of Color Conference, Pauley Ballroom, Berkeley, CA
The 41st Annual Empowering Womxn of Color Conference is scheduled for March 14, 2026. We invite you to join us in celebrating one another and our community!
In this 41st Annual EWOCC, our goal is to establish a space that honors the radical, unwavering, and profoundly intentional love that womxn of color exemplify as we build, resist, heal, and transform. We will contemplate the significance of community building, solidarity, and collective strength while prioritizing self-care and love. The event will include workshop presenters, a Q&A panelist session, as well as a catered lunch and light refreshments!

The artwork for the 2026 conference is created by Soni Lopez-Chavez. Hailing from Cuitzeo de Abasolo in Guanajuato, Mexico, Soni draws inspiration from her Chichimeca heritage and her experiences as a first-generation immigrant to uplift historically marginalized communities. Her art addresses a diverse array of topics and causes, reflecting her Indigenous ancestry and her life straddling two nations.
