Art as Healing: Honoring Women’s Stories is a close-knit community event organized by the Womanity Portrait Foundation, which celebrates the therapeutic effects of art, storytelling, and human connection.
A Women’s History Month Community Mixer
Scheduled during Women’s History Month, this evening unites artists, survivors, and community members to contemplate how art can act as a means for emotional healing, resilience, and self-reclamation.
Although the narratives shared focus on the lived experiences of women—especially those who have survived breast cancer—the event welcomes everyone who believes in the healing, connecting, and inspiring power of art.
