The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival is among the world’s largest and most famous mountain festivals! The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour begins shortly after the Festival, which takes place every fall in lovely Banff, Alberta. The Banff World Tour will make visits in over 600 towns and 40 countries around the world, celebrating incredible achievements in outdoor storytelling and filmmaking.
Each year, approximately 400 works are submitted to the Festival, and award-winners and public favorites are carefully chosen to show in theaters throughout the world.
Traveling to isolated views, dissecting current environmental challenges, and bringing audiences up close and personal with adrenaline-fueled adventure sports, the 2024/2025 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
