The National Lacrosse League has recently unveiled the schedule for the 2025-26 season, which appears to be favorable for the San Diego Seals, as they will compete in five of their first eight games at Pechanga Arena, commonly referred to by the local fanbase as “The Electric Factory.”
“The release of the schedule is always an exhilarating moment for our fans,” stated Seals Head Coach Patrick Merrill. “We understand that there are no easy matches in this League, but having five of our initial eight games at home in Pechanga Arena presents a wonderful opportunity to manage our responsibilities and commence the season successfully. We will be prepared!”
This year marks an unusually early beginning for the lacrosse season, as the Seals will kick off their campaign in November for the first time in the history of the franchise. This will occur when they launch the 2025-26 NLL season on the road during Thanksgiving Weekend against the Ottawa Black Bears at the Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday, Nov. 29. Previously, the earliest start to the season was when the Seals opened at home on Dec. 1, 2024. Last season, the Seals faced the Black Bears only once, managing a narrow 6-5 victory at Pechanga Arena, which was the lowest scoring game of the regular season for both teams.
