Run For Russ, 5K Run, Community Walk, Chino, CA
We invite you to participate in the annual “Run For Russ” 5K Run and Community Walk on Saturday, February 7, 2026. This event is dedicated to honoring the memory of fallen Chino Police Officer Russ Miller, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty due to a drunk driver on February 1, 2000.
We anticipate over 1,000 participants this year and encourage you, along with your family and friends, to show your support by taking part in this significant community event. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Chino Police Officers Foundation, which provides support to youth, individuals, and organizations in Chino that require financial assistance. Registration includes an event t-shirt, water, snacks, and a pancake breakfast provided by the Chino Kiwanis Club.

PACKET PICK-UP
FRIDAY, February 6th
4:00 – 6:00 PM – Early Check-in and Packet Pickup at the Chino Police Department, located at 5450 Guardian Way, Chino, CA 91710.
SATURDAY, February 7th
7:00 – 8:00 AM – Race Day Registration, Check-in, and Packet Pickup at the start line (Central Ave. & Chino Ave.)

AWARDS
The overall top male and female participants will receive awards. These awards are determined by gun time, meaning that the first male and female to cross the finish line are declared the winners.
COURSE
The start and finish line is located at the Chino Civic Center. This course is flat and smooth, guiding participants past the Russ Miller Memorial site on Schaefer Avenue. The total distance of the course is 3.1 miles. Please refrain from using BIKES, ROLLERBLADES, or SCOOTERS on the course.
