An evening dedicated to Jonoobi music, cuisine, and culture — featuring live Boushehri singers, a blend of fusion and folklore, wine, and Khayyam Khaani.
Join us for Shab-e Jonoob (شب جنوب)—a Persian Mahfel-style (محفل) event that immerses you in the soulful rhythms, tastes, and essence of Iran’s southern coastline. This intimate Persian gathering honors Jonoobi (جنوبی) and Boushehri culture, with two outstanding Boushehri singers leading us through a journey of fusion and folklore, ranging from vibrant ensemble performances to the serene tones of Khayyam Khaani (خیامخوانی). We will commence with a warm meet-and-greet, accompanied by fine wine and authentic southern (جنوبی) appetizers, proceed with live Jonoobi fusion music, take a break for a traditional main course, and conclude with a folkloric set before enjoying tea and a classic Jonoobi dessert. In alignment with the customs of a genuine Mahfel (محفل), seating will consist of a combination of chairs and cozy floor seating, allowing guests to experience the music’s rhythm up close. To maintain the integrity of the performance, photography and videography will be strictly prohibited; we may kindly request guests to store their phones and cameras with us during the event to ensure the evening remains fully present, heartfelt, and timeless.
