Maddie’s songs embrace an outspoken yet sympathetic truth-telling style, unavoidably leading listeners into the most private corners of her brain (and theirs as well). The virality of the singles “Fat Funny Friend” and “You Might Not Like Her” resulted in over 175 million streams and millions of admirers who formed a tight-knit community on TikTok. Maddie is coming from nearly a year of introspection after exploding into the spotlight only a few years ago, following the release of her 2023 debut album “Now That I’ve Been Honest” and 2024 fan favorite “Little Me”. Her future piece depicts a component of her experience that she enjoys compartmentalizing but wishes to share with those who have been through their own stages of grieving.
