For three decades, Lila Downs has been one of the most prominent Latin American performers.

With her Mixtec heritage, she comes to commemorate the annual Mexican communion with the ghosts of departed loved ones. Downs uses her tremendous voice and artistry to advocate for improvement for all people, transcending her own cultural traditions.
