Heart by Heart: Dreamboat Annie 50th Anniversary
Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier, who served as the bassist and drummer for the band Heart during the 1970s and early 1980s, are currently touring under the name Heart By Heart. “Our goal is to deliver the classic Heart music as authentically as possible,” states Fossen. The band includes vocalist Somar Macek, guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Lizzy Daymont, and guitarist Chad Quist. Heart By Heart offers a powerful and dynamic performance that features all the beloved Heart hits alongside deep album tracks that fans will appreciate.
Fossen and Derosier are the formidable driving force behind Heart’s timeless hits such as “Barracuda,” “Straight On,” “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man,” “Even It Up,” “Dog & Butterfly,” “Heartless,” “Kick It Out,” and many others. Originally established by Steve Fossen in 1969, Heart achieved the release of six top-10 albums and secured 20 hit singles on the Billboard top 40 chart. In acknowledgment of their significant contributions to these legendary recordings, as well as Heart’s initial seven years of national and international touring, Fossen and Derosier were inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside the original Heart lineup in 2013.
