Chris Illingworth, the pianist, Nick Blacka, and Jon Scott, the drummer, delve deeply within themselves to discover “what we think are our integral, authentic qualities at this moment in time.” It serves as a strong catalyst for some of their most daring songs to date, which feature electric bass, Moog Grandmother, and modular synths more than ever before as they seamlessly transition from acoustic instrumentation to electronica with drums front and center.
