Franc D’Ambrosio’s latest performance combines classic musical-theater favorites with enduring jazz standards.
From West Side Story and My Fair Lady to the works of Gershwin and Porter, he reinterprets cherished songs with a distinctive flair.
Each piece is prefaced by a short narrative—occasionally playful, occasionally touching—emphasizing the longstanding relationship between Broadway and Jazz, which have always intertwined in the ambiance of the same smoky lounge.
This show is a tribute to transformation, rhythm, and the significance of the Great American Songbook.
