CelloVoci with Effie Passero, Gallo Center for the Arts, Modesto, CA
CelloVoci is a newly established classical-crossover ensemble featuring the internationally acclaimed cello and vocal duo Branden & James, alongside the dynamic singer/songwriter Effie Passero, a Modesto native known for her appearances on American Idol and with Postmodern Jukebox.
With “dazzling cello and soaring tenor vocals” (NPR Music) provided by Branden & James, and Ms. Passero’s “insanely powerful voice” (Entertainment Weekly), this trio delivers a remarkable array of musical collaborations and whimsical narratives that are sure to evoke both laughter and tears. They have recently completed their inaugural collaborative album titled Happy Days and made their solo concert debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City in October 2024.
