Witness the Calidore Quartet in a new light – literally. Bathed in the soothing glow of candlelight, their performance will take you to a world of exquisite musicianship.
The Calidore, known for their vibrant interpretations and razor-sharp technical brilliance, will perform a captivating program that includes Haydn’s playful “Largo” from Op. 76 No. 5, the bold world premiere of a new work by Turnage (a Schlichting Commission), and Beethoven’s profoundly spiritual String Quartet No. 12 in Eb Major, Op. 127. In their triumphant return to the Center, the Calidore will create an amazing and immersive chamber music experience that you won’t want to miss.
