Brazil is a nation renowned for its vibrant music and dance culture. Frequently, what is promoted as Brazilian dance in the United States reflects only the styles found in the North-East and South-East regions of Brazil.
Now, you have the chance to engage with a broader spectrum of dances that represent the entirety of Brazil. You will not only learn various movements but also gain a deeper insight into their origins and appropriate contexts for use. We provide a selection of contemporary dances suitable for parties, clubs, and social events. Furthermore, we present the opportunity to delve into and comprehend more traditional dances associated with Afro-Brazilian religions, such as Candomblé. All skill levels are welcome.
