Their spirited and unique “Wild and Swingin’ Holiday Party” has evolved into a highly anticipated annual family event. According to singer and band leader Scotty Morris, “If you’re going to go to a holiday show with your family, this is the one! It truly provides something for everyone.” Drawing from a rich repertoire of holiday classics and original Christmas songs from the band’s two full-length holiday albums, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy presents its world-renowned live performance, offering a fun and quirky perspective on the holiday season, just for you.
The band’s lively renditions of classic holiday tunes in the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy style feature: Jingle Bells, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, and Winter Wonderland. Their version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer combines “Andrew’s Sisters” with the blues, while the iconic Heat Miser song takes listeners back to a cherished holiday special. The band energetically performs Chuck Berry’s Run, Run Rudolph, Lou Rawls’ Merry Christmas Baby, and slows the tempo for Elvis Presley’s Blue Christmas. They also take a detour to New Orleans for Frosty the Snowman, and to the Caribbean for the Calypso A Party for Santa, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has consistently prioritized the creation of original music, and the holiday season is no different.
