Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert features a live orchestral performance of the series’ iconic music, as well as a two-hour special review of the animated series’ three seasons shown on a full-size cinema screen.
The projection will include the original dialogue and sound effects, with no pre-recorded music, allowing the live orchestra to perform the iconic soundtrack live and in perfect rhythm with the show’s favorite sequences. What was the result? A wonderfully immersive and epic concert experience that reinvigorates Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Avatar: The Last Airbender, a Peabody and Emmy® Award-winning series, recounts the exploits of the main character Aang and his allies as they battle Fire Lord Ozai and finish the Hundred-Year War to restore balance to the Four Nations. Taiko and erhu will share the spotlight alongside violins and clarinets, while the most beloved sequences from the series play out on the big screen, bringing viewers into the Avatar world to experience the series’ most memorable moments with Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko and more.
Emmy Award-winning composer and guitarist Jeremy Zuckerman, the creative force behind the show’s original music, has dedicated his heart and great talent to expanding his songs for the concert series. This extraordinary production, created in partnership with Jeff Adams (the show’s original editor), accentuates the series’ epic grandeur and high drama, allowing its audience to immerse themselves in the compelling world of Avatar: The Last Airbender through this live orchestra concert.
