About DJ Dave Paul: DJ Dave Paul has been a key figure in hip-hop and DJ culture for more than 30 years. In the early 1990s, he founded The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine, which has since become legendary, and in 1995, Paul turned it into a record company.
Rolling Stone named the label “one of the fifteen independent labels that matter,” and Spin Magazine ranked the label’s Return of the DJ series #25 in their “The 90 Greatest Albums of the 90’s” (Sept. 1999 issue), outperforming Gold & Platinum albums by Lauryn Hill, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, and Fatboy Slim.
Dave Paul has appeared on the cover of Billboard magazine and in the film Scratch. Mr. Paul has DJed around the United States, toured Europe, produced over 100 projects on his record label, and is currently producing theme parties, including All That 90s Party.
