Adam Melchor’s path thus far has been everything but traditional. Long story short, this proud Jersey kid picked up a guitar and finally realized his lifelong dream of being a musician in Los Angeles.
However, in truth, he arrived at this point by performing for mobsters and “well-suited insurance professionals” in pizza establishments, obtaining an Opera degree, and spending thousands of hours playing in various bars, churches, and restaurants (sometimes within the same day). He also drove across the country to the West Coast in an old Toyota Camry on two occasions. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2018, he collaborated with a range of artists from Charlie Puth to The Chainsmokers, and has toured with Mt. Joy, Dodie, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, and JS Ondara. Gaining momentum, his single “Real Estate” achieved significant success leading up to the 2020 SUMMER CAMP EP. After accumulating over 40 million streams and receiving praise from NPR, Wonderland Magazine, Billboard, Atwood Magazine, and others, he officially made his debut earlier this year with Melchor Lullaby Hotline, Vol. 1.
