Be the Change, A Puberty Workshop for Mothers and Daughters, Sacramento, CA
A puberty program for girls and moms that includes training, storytelling, and enjoyable activities.
Is your daughter about to enter puberty, or is she already in the process and you’re having trouble conversing with her? If so, this is the workshop for you!
During this two-hour session, you and your daughter will learn about puberty and have the opportunity to share memories.
Mothers, you will have time to journal and reflect based on guided questions. You’ll also get the opportunity to talk with each other and Kara about any questions or concerns you have.
Kara will teach the children about puberty and lead them through activities such as making a baggie with resources and an identity collage.
We will also get together to learn and share.
This is a time to care for one another, learn about available resources, and initiate conversations that can be repeated at home on a daily basis.
