Learn about the history and traditions of our “California Grown” Pan African Holiday.
Explore the resurgence of Black Agriculture along the American River Parkway, which is critical to a Regional Sacramento Valley authentic “First Fruits of the Harvest” celebrating and preserving the legacy of Rancho Rio de Los Americanos, exhibiting our California Pan African Harvest since 1844.
Our annual event provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to learn about Kwanzaa, support local farmers, and learn about agriculture businesses while immersed in the festive and joyful Kwanzaa holiday ambiance.
Everyone is welcome at our family-friendly Matunda Ya Kwanzaa.

Come explore our inaugural fundraising for our year-long statewide adventure highlighting Califorina 175; the transfer from Mexican control to U.S. Military rule, and the official establishment of our Great State of California on September 9, 1850, 175 years ago.
