Kick off the holiday season with the largest switch-flipping ceremony in Downtown LA! Downtown LA’s Largest Switch-Flipping Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Participate in the opening celebrations for Grand Illuminations on Wednesday, December 3rd, commencing at 12 PM with a Holiday Marketplace, curated by The Goddess Mercado. Following this, enjoy live entertainment starting at 4 PM, a community countdown, and tree lighting ceremony at 5 PM, concluding with a live band until 7 PM.
What to Anticipate:
✨ Be among the first to witness Grand Illuminations, an immersive holiday light display at The Yard at Cal Plaza, showcasing Liquid PXL’s Electric Dandelions, Lumiverse, and a 25-foot custom-designed tree.
☕ Support local businesses at our Holiday Marketplace featuring local vendors selected by The Goddess Mercado, ideal for discovering unique gifts for everyone on your list.
🧸 Contribute new, unwrapped toys or essentials (including personal care items) to aid the Para Los Niños Drive.
🎄 The lighting ceremony will commence at 5 PM.
🎶 Enjoy live musical performances from 4 PM to 7 PM.
🎅 Visit the Omni’s satellite bar in the plaza or at Blitzen’s, a Christmas pop-up at Noe Restaurant & Bar, for a festive beverage!
