Enchanted Winter Walk at Berkeley Rose Waldorf School – for Nursery through Grade 2.
We are delighted to welcome you to Berkeley Rose’s own Winter Wander. This is an outdoor event that celebrates international winter holidays.
Join us for an amazing tour where youngsters may discover the wonder of winter. You will be greeted by our Snow Queen before embarking on your voyage around the world. On this meander around our campus, you will see how different cultures celebrate winter and bring light into the darker, colder days of the year: the celebrations of Diwali, Hanukkah, Shab-e Yalda, a visit with a hibernating bear, some charming dioramas of Las Posadas and the Chinese festival of Dongzhi, a winter story puppet show, and the decoration of a Christmas tree while live carolers sing.
Along the route, the youngsters will collect minor treasures, including some sweets.
Although this session is geared toward children aged 3 to 8, all children are welcome.
Dress warmly because the event will take place outside. Please keep in mind that our winter adventure will include stairs.
