Gather your buddies for three days of artisanal cheese delight! This weekend is jam-packed with tastings, excursions, cheese crawls, and fun in the marketplace!
19th Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival.
Get your tickets to three days of cheese delight! Join us for the 19th Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival, March 21-23, 2025. This weekend of all things cheese includes cheese tastings and pairings, farm and producer visits, a Cheese Crawl, and, of course, the weekend’s grand finale, the Artisan Cheese Tasting & Marketplace! Attendees can meet cheesemakers, sample and purchase artisan products, and try beer, wine, cider, and spirits.
All sales are final, and the activities will take place rain or shine.
Friday, March 21st, 9:00 AM to around 3:30 PM. Farm & Producer Tours at various sites – six different scheduled tours on Friday to select from, each with a unique itinerary and all including lunch.
Saturday, March 22nd: Seminars, Workshops, and Pairing Sessions.
Morning Sessions: 11:00 AM to Noon
Afternoon Session (1:00-2:00 PM)
There are seven separate sessions to pick from, and they are close enough together that you could take a morning and afternoon session if you wanted. Various venues and subjects, including pairs and hands-on activities.
3:00pm – 6:00pm. Cheese crawl at The Barlow in Sebastapol, CA. –
VIP Early Entry: 3:00PM Check-in
Check-in for general admission is at 4:00 PM.
Stop by each of our partnering shops around The Barlow to try cheese and receive a sample of the business’s specialty (maybe a craft beer, Sonoma County wine, a local spirit, or a snack!) As you move from site to location, you will have the opportunity to sit down and purchase unique menu items for Cheese Crawlers. Only those aged 21 and up
The Sonoma County Fairgrounds and Event Center will host a marketplace on Sunday, March 23rd from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM. Bubbles and Bites + Early Entry into the Artisan Cheese Tasting and Marketplace – Begin your morning at Saralee & Richard’s Barn with a glass of bubbly and a few cheesey snacks, then learn about the new and fascinating goods available in the marketplace.Then, travel to the Grace Pavilion for early entrance into the Artisan Cheese Tasting & Marketplace from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
12:00pm – 4:00pm Artisan Cheese Tasting and Marketplace — Over 100 merchants will be presenting their products; experience new and familiar cheeses as well as artisanal products that accompany cheese. Sample cheese, accessories, wine, beer, cider, and spirits, as well as live entertainment.
