Wonderous shimmering night garden, Returning favorites and fresh delights

By day, Descanso blooms and chitters with cheery and welcoming sunlight vistas. By night, the Enchanted Forest of Light transforms the gardens into a magical, mysterious, and luminous world.

Enchanted’s imaginative installations create a parallel world through light, color, and ambient music, transforming ordinary garden locations into amusing, dramatic, and beautiful botanical artworks.

Popular recurring pieces include a town of stunning “stained glass” cottages by modern sculptor Tom Fruin, brilliant geometric sculptures from HYBYCOZO, Flower Power on the Promenade, and exquisite lighting effects in the Ancient Forest.

Rain or shine – Enchanted lights up the night

Enchanted is a “rain-or-shine” event that remains open even during inclement weather. Tickets are non-refundable, timed entrance, and must be purchased in advance.
Dress warmly. The mythical breeze from the lake or a mystic bewitching weather enchantment can cause the Enchanted Forest of Light to become exceptionally cold. We recommend comfortable coats and sweaters.
Hot beverages and other delightful snacks will be available to purchase.
