8th annual Black Joy Parade, Black Infant Health, Oakland, CA
The event is the largest of its type in downtown Oakland. Come see the procession, performances, vendors, activations, and more! Admissions are free.
Join thousands of people on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, to celebrate Black joy and support Black business, community, art, music, and other initiatives.
What to Expect:
There are more than 200 Black-owned merchants selling food, drinks, clothing, homemade crafts, and more.
There will be two stages of Black acts throughout the day, including a headliner and The Black Joy Choir. There will also be activities for the entire family, such as Games n’ Grooves and a dancing competition.

And of course, the world’s largest Black Joy Parade procession!
Time:
The parade starts at 12:30pm PST.
Following the parade, the festival begins at 12:30 p.m. and concludes at 7 p.m.
Admission is free for everyone, so bring your friends and family!
Black Joy Parade is a recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization maintained entirely by volunteers. All donations will go towards supporting local artists and event production.
