BREW: UBrew hands-on brewing event with barbecue lunch
Ever wanted to make your own beer but didn’t know where to begin?
Do you want to give Dad a one-of-a-kind gift that the whole family can enjoy and learn from?
This is a hands-on, yet still beginner-friendly, brewing experience in which you will brew beer together in small groups. NOT a demonstration.
Join us for a day of brewing, learning, and toasting to Dad and homebrewing!
Pre-paid tickets are necessary. Space is limited.
Please arrive on time so that class can begin with everyone present.
Highlights – What to Expect: Fun!!
Experience a hands-on brewing class with your small team. Learn from experienced homebrewers at Dahoam1516 who will guide you through the process.
Curated recipe based on a classic Czech Pilsner, with malt from Admiral Maltings
Dahoam1516 provides access to a private Brewhouse as well as homebrewed samples.
Dahoam1516 will provide an all-you-can-eat Bavarian-style barbecue lunch.
Invite to an exclusive, exclusive “Pour Night” when the beer is finished.
Before you leave, remember to wear comfortable, non-slip shoes and clothing that can be changed.
Brewing teams are picked upon arrival.
Dahoam1516 will complete the beermaking process in their private-label brewhouse.
– All ages are welcome to attend. Proof of age is required to sample beer, including children.

We are located at 1516 Lincoln Ave, Alameda, CA 94501. There is plenty of street parking along Lincoln Avenue.

Our entrance is off Powers Court.
– Look for our signs and garden near the corner of Lincoln Ave and Powers Ct. – Follow the garden down Powers Ct to the Red Gate. – The large flag pole with the Bavarian and Alameda flags serves as a handy marker. – The gate opens around 10 minutes before.

We’re only 1.5 blocks from the main public transit route, which stops at Stanton St.
– AC Transit Transbay “O” from Salesforce Transit Center – AC Transit Line “51A” from downtown Oakland, Park Street, and Fruitvale BART stations.
