Rare Books Pasadena invites booksellers and bibliophiles from across the globe to celebrate their passion for antiquarian books, fine prints, maps, ephemera, and more on February 21-22, 2026, in Pasadena.

RARE BOOKS PASADENA: February 21-22, 2026

With the support of AbeBooks, over 80 exhibitors from London, Melbourne, New York, and various locations throughout the United States and Canada will gather at the historic Raymond Theatre and an additional venue at the adjacent Courtyard by Marriott ballroom, showcasing a stunning collection of rare books and other historical items.

The new book fair venue in Old Pasadena is vibrant, featuring numerous cafés and restaurants, along with ample parking facilities. Attendees can also utilize the Metro light rail, as the transit-friendly book fair is conveniently located just a half block from the Memorial Park stop on the A Line.

The Raymond Theatre, initially known as the Crown Theatre, was constructed in 1921 and has since become a notable entertainment venue recognized for its sophisticated design and grand architecture. In the late 1970s, it gained notoriety as Perkins Palace, hosting rock concerts with renowned acts such as Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, Devo, Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Guns N’ Roses, Black Flag, and many others.

“Rich in history and culture, the Raymond Theatre serves as the ideal venue to showcase the world’s premier booksellers,” stated Rare Books LA Director Jodi Tolan. In addition to rare books, attendees will encounter a variety of items, including historic maps, original artwork, artist’s books, and punk zines. “It’s Coachella for book enthusiasts!”

Ticket prices range from $15 to $45. A weekend pass to the book fair is available for $25, which includes a limited-edition poster and access to the fair on both days. The bookends pass offers a pair of weekend passes along with a special Rare Books LA tote bag.
