This year’s USC FORWARD Summit subject, Amplifying Impact: From Vision to Legacy, emphasizes the transformative path of innovation, particularly in the fields of startups, entrepreneurship, and bootstrapping. The subject emphasizes the need of resilience and creativity in developing scalable initiatives that not only address immediate issues but also pave the path for long-term societal and economic benefits. This year’s conference aims to inspire delegates to embrace daring ideas, leverage community support, and amplify their influence, so transforming dreams into enduring legacies.

The FORWARD Summit is a high-profile event that recognizes and highlights the accomplishments of Black and Latinx business executives who are altering sectors and paving the path for future generations. Breaking barriers since 2019, this one-day gathering will bring together trailblazers, aspiring professionals, and visionaries from many industries, creating an environment of empowerment, education, and advancement.
The day will feature inspiring panels, group discussions, catered lunch, and a networking reception, providing valuable opportunity to interact with leaders and peers, share experiences, and exchange ideas. With a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, this event provides a forum for open discussions and innovative solutions to the difficulties that underrepresented communities confront in business today.
Mission
The FORWARD Summit was formed in 2019 by two USC Marshall graduate student organizations, Black Graduate Business executives (BGBL) and Latino Management & Business Association (LMBA), to raise the visibility of Black and Latinx executives in the USC and Southern California communities. We are devoted to offering professional leadership materials to help bridge the representation gap in business management. The FORWARD Summit will educate and support current and future Marshall students, as well as strengthen alumni participation. FORWARD Summit will create a diverse pipeline of talent by bringing together students and executives from top-tier enterprises.
