Fine Twining, Three-Square Workshop, Charlie Kennard, Santa Rosa, CA
In this hands-on session, you’ll create your own unique twined basket out of fragrant, soft, and robust natural materials!
Join us for a hands-on session where you will learn how to make tiny, twined baskets out of a lovely, small relative of tule. This natural material is not only incredibly aromatic, but it is also strong and supple, making it ideal for a number of weaving techniques. Whether you’re a novice or an expert weaver, this session will allow you to explore the relaxing rhythms of weaving while making a one-of-a-kind, utilitarian piece of art. Come immerse yourself in the process and leave with your own handcrafted basket!
Participants must bring a water bowl, scissors, and lunch!
