As the use of artificial intelligence grows, especially in case preparation and courtrooms, criminal defense attorneys must understand its applications, ethical implications, and potential obstacles in criminal trials, appeals, and postconviction cases. This lecture will provide up-to-date information on the rapidly changing and evolving topic of artificial intelligence and associated tactics from experts in the field.

Emily Prokesch will address the definition and applications of AI, including current case law and court procedures governing the use of AI in court.
