The Yurok Tribe cordially invites you to the third annual California Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Summit.
SAVE THE DATE – The Yurok Tribe is pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (“MMIP”) Summit will be held on February 25th and 26th, 2025, and invites all Indigenous people and allies to attend.
Tuesday, February 25th, 2025: The Summit and Welcoming Dinner
1:00pm: Registration opens.
2:00 PM – The Summit
The Summit’s principal purpose is to provide a voice for California’s missing and murdered Indigenous peoples and their relatives. For far too long, Indigenous people have been rendered invisible across the state.
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Cultural Sharing and Welcoming Dinner
The day will conclude with an MMIP Summit welcome dinner, which will include a cultural exchange with tribes from northern, central, and southern California.
Wednesday, February 26th, 2025: The MMIP Policy Summit.
10:00am to 5:00pm – The Summit
The Summit will bring together tribal leaders from across the state, MMIP survivors and victim advocates, state lawmakers, federal partners, law enforcement, and academic experts to find ways to end the issue.
We will include panels and keynote speakers, including tribal leaders, politicians, Justice Partners, MMIP victims’ families, and MMIP survivors.

Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge for the table, but donations are encouraged.
