Every year, the Human Milk Institute (HMI) at UC San Diego welcomes world leaders in human milk research and application to La Jolla, California, to share their most recent insights and discoveries and explore the field’s future.

This year, we will provide a variety of new features, including:

On March 4, there will be deep dive satellite sessions with key opinion leaders, poster sessions and oral presentations, focus sessions on innovative topics like social determinants of health and point-of-care diagnostics, and “White Couch Conversations” to advance the field.

We will celebrate the power of human milk and breastfeeding with new science and more at the Robert Paine Scripps Seaside Forum, which has an unmatched beachfront setting.

Tuesday, March 4 is reserved for deep dive satellite sessions, which must be purchased as “add-ons” to the two days of the primary symposia.
On the morning of the deep dive satellite sessions, two tracks run concurrently. Please make sure to only choose one.
