Shane Gillis is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer hailing from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. After securing the title of Philly’s Funniest at Helium Comedy Club in 2016, Shane was recognized as an “Up-Next” Comic at Comedy Central’s 2019 Clusterfest in San Francisco and as a “New Face” at the esteemed Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
In 2021, Gillis premiered his inaugural comedy special Shane Gillis: Live in Austin on YouTube, which has garnered over 14 million views. He is one-half of the top 10 podcasts on Patreon and Apple, known as Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast. Additionally, he frequently appears as a guest on Sirius XM’s The Bonfire, Spotify’s The Joe Rogan Experience, and Barstool Sports KFC Radio. Shane contributed as a writer for Comedy Central’s Delco Proper and co-created, wrote, and starred in the popular YouTube sketch series Gilly & Keeves. In October 2022, Shane and John McKeever collaborated with Booklight Entertainment and Outback Presents to produce and release Gilly & Keeves: The Special on GillyandKeeves.tv. Shane is featured as ‘Gilly’ in Peacock’s Bupkis alongside Pete Davidson, Joe Pesci, and Edie Falco, as well as in his newly released Netflix special Beautiful Dogs.
