Comedian, actor, and writer Jim Jefferies, a native of Australia, stands out as one of the most esteemed and popular comedians of his generation, captivating audiences worldwide with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking humor.
Since the release of his first stand-up special, Contraband, in 2008, Jefferies has produced a total of ten specials, including his latest, Two Limb Policy, which premiered on Netflix in 2025, marking his sixth special for the platform. In this special, Jefferies shares his insights on topics such as tiny mustaches, the struggles of straight men, and the notion that acting is not a legitimate profession.
In addition to his stand-up work, Jefferies has made notable appearances in films and television, including the comedy series Legit, which he co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in for FX. He also hosted and co-created the acclaimed Comedy Central series, The Jim Jefferies Show, which aired for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, he received the prestigious Stand-Up Comedian of the Year award at the Just for Laughs Festival.
Currently, Jefferies is the host of FOX’s reality show, The Snake, where contestants must utilize their training, charm, and persuasive abilities to navigate fear-inducing challenges that reveal their true character. He is also set to star in Jordan Peele’s upcoming production, Him, alongside Tyriq Withers, Marlon Wayans, and Julia Fox, which is scheduled for release in September 2025.
