Step Back in Time at Monterey’s Cherished Holiday Tradition

Immerse yourself in the enchantment of Christmas in the Adobes, Monterey’s foremost holiday event. Co-hosted by the Monterey State Historic Park Association (MSHPA) and California State Parks, this evening walking tour illuminates over twenty historic sites with radiant luminarias, festive decorations, live music, and holiday spirit.

Take a leisurely walk through the oldest structures in Monterey, partake in seasonal festivities, and uncover the narratives behind these treasured sites. Numerous community partner locations open their doors exclusively for this event, providing a genuinely unique experience for individuals of all ages.

Your involvement aids in the preservation of history: the proceeds support educational history initiatives for local elementary students and contribute to education, research, interpretation, and historic preservation efforts benefiting the Monterey State Historic Park (MSHP).

Ticket Pricing
Adult, Single-Night Ticket: $30 ($25 if purchased before November 1)
Adult, Two-Night Gold Pass: $45
Youth (17 and under): Free
Discounts for military personnel and MSHPA members are not accessible online. To avail these discounts, tickets must be purchased in person at either the Custom House Store or the Pacific House Store.

Important Ticketing Information
Individuals purchasing tickets online are required to check in at one of the three designated will-call locations on the evening of the event to obtain their wristband and the Christmas in the Adobes map.
Print-at-home or mobile Eventbrite tickets will not be accepted at individual locations.
The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions; please dress appropriately.
Refunds are not permitted.
