Welcome to the New Renaissance and yet another edition of SWAAM Spoken Word Art & Music, featuring Open Mic, Live Band, Wine Bar, VIP Tables, and an additional incredible featured artist for your enjoyment. He is the Original Host of SWAAM, Spoken Word Art & Music. An award-winning Poet, Writer, Actor, and Community Activist, he has dedicated over 20 years to unwavering commitment and contributions to the art community. For more than 20 years, he has provided a platform for emerging poets as well as seasoned veterans, slam poetry champions, and poet laureates to showcase and present their work. He has hosted SWAAM for nearly 18 years and has never taken the stage as the featured artist until now; this is sure to be an exciting experience. Our Black History Month feature will be none other than “Lorenzo”! Special guest host “Nspire” will be present! The show begins promptly at 8 PM, and early arrival is recommended.
