The 2024 Design Awards applications will be showcased at Channing Peake Gallery from February 6th to March 30th. Reception was held on February 6th.
The Santa Barbara Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) hosts an annual juried Design Awards Program to recognize outstanding architectural work. Entries were filed into the following categories: Commercial buildings, single-family residential, mixed-use and multi-family residential, conservation projects (historic preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, or reconstruction), Santa Barbara Heritage (residential and commercial projects), small projects, commercial interiors, residential interiors, and proposed/unbuilt projects. A select jury of three eminent architects from outside Santa Barbara considered three levels of distinction for the submitted projects: honorable mention, merit designation, and honor award.
Submissions for the 2024 Design Awards will be shown at Channing Peake Gallery from February 6th to March 30th, 2025. The reception will be place on February 6th, 2025, at 5.00pm.
